Our goal is to introduce as many new faces into the wonderful world of scuba diving! As opposed to other dive shops, we understand the major driving factor, cost. Our mission is to make scuba more affordable and thus assessable, allowing the next generation to enjoy a sport still buried in the depths for many.

“ When I heard of Upstate Scuba, I thought it would be just an assessable way to get my path to Advanced Initialized. So I would run in, get a flashlight and run out. Yet the staff was so nice and intriguing, that I found myself running to the shop 2 to 4 times a week and spending hours in the front chatting about life or hearing a glimpse into his very eventful past. To this point I am incredibly thankful for his help and time, and I’m glad to stop by just to make his working day just a little brighter. “Pretty full service dive shop. Instructional staff genuinely cares about divers. I taught with these folks for years and recently decided to stop being an instructor. But, i know them and These are genuinely good folks with a passion for diving. Michael certified both of my children and Robbie certified my wife.
We have been on tons of great diving adventures with the Upstate Scuba crew. The prices are as good as you will find anywhere around here and there are enough to instructors to make getting into a class pretty easy.
Scuba diving has been, and continues to be, one of the greatest adventures of my life and I would recommend anyone give it a try. UPSTATE SCUBA is a great place to do that.
Instructos Robbie, Michael, Matthew, Eric, Kylie, Daniel, Carl, John, and Paul along with the assistant instructors, can get you about any training or equipment you need. They do Florida Springs and Panama City trips several times each year and local lake trips throughout the year.

“Just got back from the crystal river dive trip with Upstate Scuba. On the first day Robbie saw the wetsuit I rented was a little torn on the knees and he apologized. A couple hours later he calls me saying he went out right before the shops closed and bought me a new wetsuit to use for the trip, that he was so sorry about the used one. This gang at Upstate Scuba are the definition of good people. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure all the people they were looking after were taken care of and having a great time.
